Groceries shopping & Food Waste Reduction - Practical & Affordable Eco-Tips Free Online Session by I Have Learned Academy Part of the Free Online Series Program: "Toolkit for Life in crisis times & after Covid-19"

Food waste is responsible for about one quarter of the greenhouse emissions causing global warming every year. Changing the way we eat can have a great impact on reducing climate change in many ways. Should we all go vegan? Maybe vegetarian? Is meat really all that bad? What about plastic bags? Should I buy fresh or frozen vegetables?

Learn how to make better choices when shopping, cooking, eating and ordering food in an interactive and fun webinar. We will also be sharing creative tips and recipes to reduce your food waste.

- Intro to food waste
- What to cook? (seasonal, local, cooking from scratch, the problem with meat etc.)
- How to shop? (where to shop, packaging, fresh vs canned etc.)
- How to reduce food waste in kitchen? (making use of scraps, storing techniques etc.)
- Useful and eco-friendly cooking and cleaning tools (reusable equipment, natural products etc.)
- Small shopping game
