In this talk we will discuss with 2 experts from different backgrounds:

- The role of alternative Media in challenging popular but problematic narratives
The Turning Point in Lebanon and the Emergence of a New Political System
- The potential collapse of Lebanon’s traditional power-sharing structure and what could replace it.
- The influence of grassroots movements and civil society in reshaping the political landscape. - Prospects for building a governance model rooted in accountability and transparency.
Pathways to Ending the War
- Diplomatic initiatives and international mediation to achieve a sustainable ceasefire.
- The role of regional powers and global stakeholders in conflict resolution.
- Building long-term peace through dialogue, reconstruction, and social cohesion.
- The evolving dynamics as Arab communities face increasing isolation in the fight.
Speakers Bio
Dr. Hadi Mourad is a Lebanese medical doctor, political activist, and media personality. He is the editor-in-chief and publisher of *alhaqiqah.net*, as well as the founder of Whatsdoc Clinics and Telehealth App and the president of the Heart of Bekaa Association. With a strong background in humanitarian efforts, Dr. Mourad has led medical relief operations and political awareness campaigns in Lebanon. He frequently speaks on topics related to health, politics, and conflict, offering unique perspectives from his medical and media expertise.
George Wardini is a political communication strategist and the managing director of @Polyblog.Lebanon which he founded in 2020 as a youth-led digital platform for Lebanese political affairs. He previously served as an advocacy strategist for Proud Lebanon, an LGBTQ+ rights organization, and produced multiple political shows and podcasts, including Sarde after dinner, Wassil Sawtak, Polytalks, The Happy Hour and Assaha. In 2023, George co-directed the film commemorating former Minister Mohamad Chatah's life & career, which included interviews with domestic leaders and Western diplomats. He offers perspective and analysis to International media on Lebanese affairs, and is involved in developing communication strategies for several institutions and foundations.
