In this session, we will host 2 young women pilots: Erica Chbeir and Angela Mourad.

Only 5% of pilots in the world are women.

In this session we will meet 2 young Lebanese Women who broke barriers and decided to pursue their career as pilots, making them among the top 5 women in the region to become pilots as young women.

We will be hosting Erica Chbeir and Angela Mourad, get to know them better and understand their motivations, their mindset and hear their advice for women in this special month of March where we celebrate Women's Day.

About the Speakers

We will be hosting 2 young women pilots: Erica Chbeir and Angela Mourad.

Erica Chbeir is a first officer at Middle East Airlines flying on Airbus 320, 321 and 330. Prior to joining the firm and to her pilot training in Flight Training Europe in Jerez, Erica had successfully completed her dentistry studies at the Lebanese University. Erica also holds a DU in Esthetic Dentistry from Université Saint Joseph. Fluent speaker of 3 languages, she enjoys watersports and travelling in her free time.

Angela Mourad started her flying career on gliders at the airfields of Saint-Auban in the French Alps and Saint Hubert in Belgium. She then moved to Spain to complete her flight training with FTE Jerez. Shortly after graduating, She joined the flag carrier MEA where she currently enjoys flying the A320 and A321 Neo across Europe and the Middle-East.
