During this difficult time that Lebanon is passing through, helping and connecting Lebanese to Job Opportunities is Crucial.
During this session, we will be discussing with experts in the field on all Job Opportunities, initiatives and possibilities for Lebanese in Lebanon and abroad.

We will be hosting 6 speakers:

Speaker 1
Dr Ned Fawaz
Co-founder and Chairman of HireLebanese.com

Dr Ned is the co-founder and chairman of HireLebanese.com and also the Founder and President of Lebanese International Business Council. He is the CEO of Energy International, Founder of PowerOne Corporation and Founder and First Chairman of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce.

About the Platform;
Founded in 2006, Hirelebanese has 23000 employers and 450000 job seekers. Over the years HireLebanese helped around 100,000 Lebanese find job opportunities. Since the economic crisis Hirelebanese has called on it's registered employers (23000) to further promote hiring of Lebanese in and outside Lebanon.A. Outsourcing IT and Tutoring to Lebanon (simple IT projects like building websites; Language tutoring includes Arabic, French and English) B. Neal El-Jor Taouk - Co-Founder & Executive Director of JobsForLebanon.com

Neal is the Executive Director of Jobs For Lebanon, and is leading the growth efforts of this movement. Having spent 2 years at Facebook, Neal understands the power of communities and is honored to be putting her marketing communications strategy skills to good use. Neal is a strong advocate of social impact, has a Masters in International Marketing and a decade of work experience in project management, and is based in San Francisco.

About the Platform:
Jobs For Lebanon is a solely economic initiative that aims at reviving the Lebanese economy. This initiative call onto the millions from the Lebanese Diaspora to offer job opportunities to qualified local talent back home. By signing up to the platform, hirers are able to post job openings, and job seekers in Lebanon can apply to them. As a result, thousands of new jobs are created by expats, for lebanese locals.


Speaker 3
Reine Farhat is the Communications Specialist at LebNet

Reine has been working in the media, creative and communications field for 10 years and has been focusing for the past year on highlighting the success stories of Lebanese abroad and finding the best ways to reach LebNet's members in the US and Canada, keep them involved in LebNet's programs and facilitate giving back to Lebanon.

About the Platform:
LebNet is a North America based non-profit organization launched in 1999 in Silicon Valley, California. It is dedicated to enable Tech Entrepreneurs and Professionals of Lebanese descent to succeed on a global stage through education and knowledge sharing with a focus on Women's role in tech leadership. Speaker 4:
Ramy Labaky is the Regional Director of Bayt.com

Ramy brings 16+ years of experience in sales, recruitment and management from his role as Regional Manager at Bayt.com. Prior to that, he actively contributed to the launch of a Lebanese industrial startup, Biodiesel Lebanon, where he acted as their Operations Manager. In the past 3 years, Ramy has mentored over 11 startups in the region helping them in their sales, recruitment and distribution strategies.

Dania Bdeir is a Lebanese writer/director based between NYC and Dubai. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the American University of Beirut and an MFA in Film from Tisch, NYU.

Founded by Dania Bdeir and Elena Habre in partnership with Daleel Thawra, Daleel Mawaheb is a free app that matches people's skill sets with initiatives looking for volunteers or employees.


Speaker 6:
Loulou El-Khazen Baz - experienced in Freelancing

Loulou is an Entrepreneur, Angel Investor, Podcast Host
In 2012, Loulou founded Nabbesh.com, the MENA region’s first and largest online freelance marketplace connecting businesses with over 100 thousand freelancers, Nabbesh was acquired by Ureed.com in 2020. In 2018 Baz founded Kickstart Ventures, a network of angel investors looking to invest in global early stage startups. In 2020 Baz launched Conversations with Loulou, a series of candid chats with entrepreneurs and business leaders which became the #1 podcast in the business and management categories in key MENA markets. Baz is also a mentor with regional startup accelerators and universities, a speaker on freelance and employment trends at local and reginal conferences. Loulou is Lebanese, holds a BA from Bournemouth University, has completed CFA Level 1 and attended an Entrepreneurship program at The Harvard Kennedy School.

About the Platform:

Her practical expertise is supported by her degrees in HR Management, Organizational Psychology & Business Advertising and Marketing. Her specialization is Happiness at Work, Stress and Wellness.
In addition to being a corporate trainer, Randa has been an instructor at USJ for over 10 years in HR Management & Organizational Psychology Courses for Master students.
Randa is an international speaker, sharing her passion for HR, Happiness at Work & Soft Skills at conferences & trainings across Europe, The Gulf and the Middle East.
