Realistic Expectations from the new faces in Parliament - Free Online Interactive Session by I Have Learned Academy In Collaboration with the German Foundation: KAS - Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Lebanon office

The revolution of 2019 in Lebanon made changes and 13 members were voted to become members of the parliament.

In this session we will discuss:

- Who are the new independent deputies

- What to expect from the new deputies?

- Why it's important to have their presence in the parliament

- What we cannot expect at this stage

- How to assess the performance in a constructive way

- How not to fall in the trap of destructive criticism

Speakers' Bio

Reine Abbas is a self-taught gamer, mother, and advocate for girls and young women. With more than eighteen years in the gaming industry and in higher education, Reine Abbas is one of the first female game designers in the Middle East and the first to be a founder of 2 video games and EdTech companies. While actively involved as an entrepreneur and business owner,  Reine Abbas continues to be an educator and mentor. Since 2003 she is a university professor of 2D and 3D Animation and Production, and Game Design, business development and Entrepreneurship.Reine is also an activist and works actively with the Civil Society on a contrastive road map that will help to build a strong, educated and independent society that can fight the corrupted system.
